The Kindergarten

The Kindergarten at SAIS UAQ offers a well-rounded early childhood education. The emotional, social and physical development of young children has a direct effect on their overall development and on the adult they will become. That is why understanding the need of each child is very important, so as to maximize their future well-being.

Our purpose is to help children learn and develop, stimulate their brain, improve their social skills, increase their health and wellness and support their family.

The KG curriculum solidifies academic foundations of literacy and numeracy in both English and Arabic, exploring in Science, and counting in Math. All learning is integrated with the most advanced technology. Interactive Boards, which are in all classrooms, and IPads with specialized applications to challenge our students while stimulating their imaginations and creativity.

Further, one of the main ways our children learn is through imaginative, creative,and guided play. Research shows that learning through play builds self-worth by giving a child a sense of his or her own abilities and to feel good about themselves because when it is fun, they rapidly develop cognitive, social , emotional, and physical skills that permits children to make sense and interact with their world.
