Admission Process

Thank you for your interest in the Sharjah American International School - UAQ Branch. Our faculty, staff, and student body are a diverse mix of individuals and families from around the world. Here at SAIS UAQ, we understand the challenges associated with finding the right school for your child. Therefore, whether your family is making an international move to UAE, or your child is just changing schools, SAIS UAQ is here to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Below, you will find a list of the documents you should submit to continue the Admission Process:

• 6 Recent colored passport size photographs

• A copy of Birth Certificate

• A copy of Vaccination Card

• A copy of Family Book (UAE Nationals only)

• A copy of Student's & Father's Passports with valid residence visa

• A copy of Student's & Father's Emirates ID Cards

• Original Emirates ID Card is required for the following:

- KG students and first graders (who have never joined government or private Kindergarten)

- Students coming from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Al Ain

- Students coming from outside the UAE

• Original Continuous Studying Certificate for the current year with SIS number

• Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school attested by the Ministry of Education

• A copy of Report Card

• Certificate of Good Conduct (for boys Grade 6 to Grade 11)

• If the student is transferring from a school located outside the UAE, the report card and transfer certificate should be attested from:

- Ministry of Education of his/her country

- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of his/her country
