At Sharjah American International School, we conduct the Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) once a year in Grades 3, 5, 7, and 9.The test assesses a student's ability to reason through a series of Verbal, Non-Verbal, Quantitative and Spatial Ability tasks.

We also use Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) as an external assessment measure of progress towards meeting the National Agenda targets. The test is administered three times a year in Grades 3, 5, 7, and 9.
